The Solano Avenue Associations’ Annual Mixer is hosted in March as a comprehensive governance and community building event for both members and the local business community. This gathering offers complimentary food/drink for attendees and is an essential space to conduct association business including the yearly nonprofit voting, announcement of that years president, and appointment of new board members. A key aspect of this event is providing a democratic forum to address any of the concerns, commentaries, or questions that the associations 200+ members may have. Attendees are also presented with speeches from both the newly appointed president and the executive director, which aim to generate enthusiasm and provide comprehensive information regarding the initiatives for the upcoming year.
