As the youngest editor and representative in Saddle and Bridle’s history, I pioneered the shift from description based articles to a feature focused model of reporting across 12+ annual horse shows. At each show, I tracked results, photographed the events, and networked with owners, exhibitors, and trainers to sell advertisement space and understand the stories behind those competing. Ultimately, this shift to feature articles, alongside the competition results and photojournalism, led to an increase in readership and advertisement sales.
